This delicious vegan blood orange berry smoothie has a whopping 17 grams of protein and 16 grams of fiber which will help you stay full until lunch time. Not only are blood oranges gorgeous, but they have such a unique flavor that is different than any of the other varieties of oranges. I would say they have a bit of a berry flavor note which actually pairs really well with the berries in this blood orange berry smoothie.

Serves 1


  • 1 blood orange, peeled, seeds removed (can also use regular orange)
  • 1 cup mixed frozen berries
  • ? banana
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • Handful baby spinach


Place all ingredients in the blender and puree until smooth.
